Well I wanted to post every day, but then I got really busy. Then I tried for every other day and that didn't exactly work out. Sorry about that. =\
Anyway....today's blog is featuring the Jonas Brothers! I am the biggest JoBros fan on the planet, even though I have never been to any of their concerts let alone met them, and it's very sad. =( If you couldn't tell by my profile picture, my favorite JoBro is Joe, mostly because of the hair...and the eyes...and his overall amazingness. <3
Wait...what am I doing obsessing over a guy that doesn't know I exist? I should be doing a music blog! *smacks self on the forehead* Stop, brain.
So today I will be commenting on their latest album, A Little Bit Longer. It came out in August and it has a lot of great songs. If you haven't listened to it yet....well, you're missing out.

1. BB Good



This song is about a guy who is starting a new relationship. He has been hurt before in the past, so he wants his new girl to be good to him. It's a great song and my favorite part of it is when Joe says "I don't wanna hurt you...I wanna KISS YOU!" It makes me swoon =) AHEM. Anyway it's really catchy and I always find myself singing really loudly along with the chorus.

2. Burning Up



This song is kinda self explanatory from the title...The guy sees a cute girl and can't resist liking her and really wants to be with her. He's "burning up" for her. The music is really catchy and the video is funny...the guys express themselves through their favorite action movies. =)

3. Shelf



This song is kind of sad. =\ It's about a guy who really likes this girl but she doesn't really care. She flirts with other guys and doesn't give him any chance at all to prove that he can be the one for her. He is tired of feeling this way and decides he is going to give his love to someone else.

Truthfully, I really don't like this song too much. It's just a little too angry for me, and you all know how I like happy songs. =) haha. Anyway this song is about a guy who trusted a girl but she treated him like crud. Now he is over her and he doesn't need anyone else to complicate his life. He doesn't want anything to do with her anymore.

5. Lovebug

OMG. That's all I can say about this song. If you don't watch any other videos on here, then at least watch this one cause it is reallllllyyyyy well done. I love it! =D The song has two interpretations. In the studio version, the boys are at a party and chatting with their friends (you can hear things in the background like "Get off that cake!" and "I dropped my pencil") and all of a sudden they see this beautiful girl that they can't stop thinking about. They didn't think that they could fall in love again, but they have. In the official video, the story of a young couple living in the '40s is documented. It kind of reminds me of the movie The Notebook because it starts off with elderly people and their granddaughter looking at a scrapbook. It shows life in the 40's and a sad departure when the guy realizes that he has to go off to war. The story is kind of sad but the video is really well made. =)

P.S. Joe Jonas looks really really reallllllyyyyy hot as a geek. ;-)

6. Tonight



This is a pretty good song. It's catchy to sing along to. =) This song is about a fight that a couple is having. They are going on screaming and yelling at each other for the longest time and it doesn't seem to stop. He finally decides to put an end to the fighting for the time being. He really wants everything to work out in time, but for now no one is really getting anywhere.

This song always makes me cry! It's about a guy who is deeply in love with a girl. He made mistakes and realized them when it was too late. Now she's gone and he doesn't know what to do. He has such great feelings for her that it's hard to do anything else without thinking about her. The meaning of the chorus is so beautiful, and I would melt if any guy (especially Joseph Adam Jonas <3) sang that to me. =)

Yes, this is a dorky fan-made video but I thought it was pretty funny. =D
Anyway...this song was written about Kevin's ex, Zoe Myers. She was a "video girl" and they met at the set of their Year 3000 video. The message of the song is that they don't like girls who only care about material things. Some girls only want the money or the fame, and don't love the JoBros for who they are...so sad. =\ Anyway the title of my blog came from the first line of this song, and it's pretty funny. =D

I don't want to be repetitive saying this is catchy, but all of their songs are haha =P. This song is about a girl and guy in a relationship. The guy really wants to be committed to her, but the girl keeps pushing him away. She is showing mixed emotions, and he isn't sure why this is happening.

10. Sorry



Another sad one. =\ The guy has made promises to his girlfriend, saying that he would be there for her, but he hasn't lived up to them. He has abandoned her several times. He realized his mistakes, but it is a bit too late for that. He wants her to stay so he can make it up to her somehow, but she has already left him.

I always find myself singing along to this song! It has a really great beat and it always cheers me up. A guy is totally into a girl and can't stop thinking about her. He really wants to be with her. He's "going crazy" because he's so in love with her and will do anything for her.

12. A Little Bit Longer



Oh My Jonas, I really love this song! It's so heartfelt and really sad, when you think about the meaning. Nick sings about his struggles with diabetes, and his hopes for finding a cure. He says that you really don't know what you have until it's gone, and not many people know what it's like to feel so down like this. I'm going to put all of the lyrics on here because it's such an amazing song. =)


And for any JoBro fans, I found a video that they posted on Youtube just a few days ago. They're answering their fan mail and it's really funny...especially Joe =)I have OJD (Obsessive Jonas Disorder) and I am proud! These amazing guys (Jersey Pride...woot!) have such great songs and I love them =) Even though Joe dumped Taylor Swift via a 27 second phone call just to go out with Camilla Belle a week later.....oh Joe, why must you be so cute but heartless? =\ haha
