David Archuleta

Next up is David Archuleta's self-titled album, (you guessed it!) David Archuleta. I still believe very strongly that he should have won American Idol, but we can't change the past. =P David has an AMAZING voice and he sounds like an angel. He's super sweet and so good to all his fans. Plus it's an added bonus that he's Mormon too. ;-)

1. Crush
This song is so fun to sing along to! It's my favorite song by him. =) It's about a guy who has a crush on a girl, but he's afraid to tell her. So for now they are just friends, but he hopes that someday she will feel the same way about him.

2. Touch My Hand

This song is for the fans. He sees the fans in the crowd and appreciates that they are all there to see him. He puts more meaning in the songs he sings and actually sings to them. =)

3. Barriers

Awww this song is so sad. It's about the last night before a breakup. David doesn't want to break up with the girl but they have had so many problems and they built up so many emotional walls between each other. It is too late to repair their relationship, so they say goodnight for the last time and they break it off.

This is another adorable song. David is struggling to get this girl to notice him and to like him. He wants her to see his efforts and to help him hold on so he can get to her heart. =)

5. A Little Too Not Over You
Love this song!!! It's about David's feelings for an ex-girlfriend. He is sad that she is with someone else, and he still can't get over her. He tries to forget her, and it doesn't work. I totally can relate to this song, and I hate not being able to get over someone, as much as you want to, it's hard.

6. You Can
He sounds gorgeous in this one! =) David has been lonely for so long and is looking for someone to love. He sees a possibility and says "if anyone can make me fall in love, you can".

7. Running

Another good one. David is so far away from the girl he likes so he's "running" back to be with her. He hopes that she is running to him too, and doesn't want her to stop.

8. Desperate
This has a sad message. It's about anyone who is hurting, and has major trials in his/her life. You cry for help but no one is around. No one cares to see how you are doing. You need someone to be there for you and just listen. You're "desperate" to find someone that cares. You need a reason to keep holding on. I've felt this way before and I can definitely relate.

9. To Be With You

Awww this is so sad! It's about a girl that has moved away from the guy. He really misses her and he hopes that wherever she is, she misses him too. He wants so much to be with her again.

10. Don't Let Go
His girlfriend is going through problems, and he wants to help her. But for some reason, she won't let him help her and she would rather face her problems alone. He fears he's losing her and he tells her don't let go, he's here for her.

11. Your Eyes Don't Lie
Such a great song. David and some other girl were in a relationship, but somehow he hurt her and they broke up. He regrets the things he did and wants to be back with her. She tells him that she is with someone else and perfectly happy, but he can see in her eyes that she still has feelings for him.

12. Angels
Love this song! It's a remake of a Robbie Williams song. When he loses hope about things in life, he just looks up to the sky and knows that angels are watching over him and protecting him.
